EWE designed a custom piece for a special interior project by Esrawe Studio.
The client was looking for an unique sculptural piece for their guest bathroom in their new home, aiming to create a distinctive experience by designing an uncommon and pleasant environment. Even as a sculpture the custom Altar piece remains functional as a washbasin.Departamento La Loma was the Best of Year Winner in the Medium Residential Transformation category from Interior Design Magazine Awards 2023.
Altar Sink
Designed with the Altar collection language that distinguishes EWE today, this piece was sculpted using drills. In its desire to honor the process and raw materials, is inspired by the flat-surfaced pieces used in pre-hispanic rituals and ceremonies, especially in sacrifices or offerings to the gods.
